Proposing fine particle and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene for the modification of the sliding properties of rubber coating films.
We propose the use of fine particles and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene as additives for rubber coatings in automotive rubber parts, cameras, and office automation equipment to improve lubricity and enhance durability.
High-slip paint is used in sliding parts of automobiles, cameras, and office automation equipment, and recently, interest has been increasing due to the growing demand for noise reduction. This product can lower the friction coefficient of the paint film surface and improve the durability of the paint film by adding it as a sliding modifier to the paint. Additionally, it can achieve a matte finish and modify tactile properties. It is adopted in many substrates such as urethane-based, acrylic-based, and epoxy-based, and can be used not only in solvent-based paints but also in water-based paints with just a small amount of dispersant. Powder coating can also be selected as a painting method. Conventional ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) has a large particle size of over 100μ, making it unsuitable for use as an additive. However, this product can reduce the particle size to a minimum of 10μ, allowing the high sliding properties and durability of UHMWPE to be imparted to the paint. 【Expected Functions】 - Sliding properties - Quietness (noise reduction) - Wear resistance and durability (alternative to PTFE) - Matte finish effect - Suitable for food-related use (compliant with FDA standards and Polyethylene Association standards) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
